The Spurs' worst is still better than the Blazer's best lol.
Through six games in the 2012-13 season, the Trail Blazers are still trying to establish an iden y, but we at least know this:
They are not dull.
On Saturday, the Blazers took their fans through a wild fourth quarter in which they lost the lead in a game they had controlled for three quarters, then came back and nearly stole victory at the end.
But Portland just couldn’t close the deal and suffered a 112-109 defeat to San Antonio that was their third loss in a row. The Blazers are quickly establishing themselves as a team that battles through adversity, but it
hasn’t kept them from falling to 2-4 – the franchise’s worst start through six games since 2002-03.
“We’ve been in some close games that we haven’t won,” forward LaMarcus Aldridge said. “A young team, one of the hardest things to do is learn how to win games, late games. I think that’s the transition that we’re going through right now.”
Two of the Blazers’ main issues reared their ugly heads Saturday as their defense was just too porous, and their bench just not productive.
