    Game Preview: http://www.nba.com/games/20121121/SASBOS/gameinfo.html

I am going to be at this game (first time ever seeing the spurs) so I thought I’d bring back the old look of the game blogs and the “Spurs Win” girl. Disappointed that Kawhi won’t be playing, but excited to see Timmy and Manu. I don’t know how many more chances I’ll have to see the two future Hall of Famers live, so I’m grateful for the opportunity. Now Jackson is injured, hopefully Pop can figure out the rotations and we can still pull out a win. Let’s go Spurs!

no one's gonna guard Pierce, we're pretty ed. hopefully the scrubs can keep it close, even in this sorry state our second unit is still superior to Boston's TOSB-collage of a bench.

I can take a loss tonight with the injuries as long as TP plays out of his slump and Pop figures out a decent lineup, the next 4 should be easy wins anyway.

Great, a matchup with a group like the Celtics with 0 toughness lol. This would be another game Jack would come in handy, especially with Terry there.

matty "MJ" Bonner usually does well @BOS, maybe he can bang a few 3's for us tonight?

It was a contest with Scalabrine. He won't be as motivated as before

It's interesting how Boston has around .500 record every season and barely make the playoffs. They still manage to make deep runs every season and typically draft well with higher picks. They sure missed the HCA in the 2010 finals, but it was also bad luck that Perkins went down in G6. In the end, its the talent, great coaching, solid defense and the swagger that makes the difference. The true finals in 2012 were the ECF's.

It would great if the Spurs could draft @20, instead of @30, but I'm not sure they would advance much in the playoffs without the HCA.

Bonner has a lot of family in New Hampshire that he usually gets tickets for when the Spurs play in Boston. Figured if they are in the arena, he will play a little better.

rondo always finds his jumpshot vs SA and kills us
boston is basically the same team as SA right now
deep team mostly on the wings with a pick and roll styled offense
i read that Bostons Deff goes down by 19 when garnett goes out
kind of how the spurs defense goes to when tims out
so splitter/diaw need to take advantage and we can come out with a win

hopefully this game isnt as ugly as the last time we played there

I'm excited about this game. The KG Celtics are always a very good test. We'll have a better idea of where the Spurs stand after this game.

    Things we know going in:

-Bonner will be approximately 28u23u4023u42342% more energetic than usual due to playing in front of his family.

-Rondo will turn into Mark Price from the perimeter, yet the Spurs will keep going under screens.

-KG will make a routine play and then stare at TD for no apparent reason.

-TD and/or Manu will punk KG at some point.

-One of their bench players will have the game of their life.

-There's going to be a long drought where neither team scores.

-To win, the Spurs will have to hit a couple crazy shots at the end.

It's pretty much clockwork figuring out the @BOS games nowadays.

    Good stuff.

Looking forward to the team playing hard for the whole game. Boston always play well against the Spurs. Just want to see the effort and Pops rotations. ...and a win.

JMcDonald_SAEN Tony Parker's offensive numbers down across the board; Pop acknowledges he's having trouble finish at rim. Calls it "a concern."

JMcDonald_SAEN As expected, Gary Neal will start at SG tonight in BOS, with Danny Green sliding to SF.

I like Gary, but it looks like Pierce is going to take advantage of that match up.

So, the question is why Tony can't finish at the rim? Is somehow really tired? Suddenly got old? Caught "Splitter Disease"? What?

Land and Monaco on the call? Two play-by-play guys and no color commentator? Never seen that before on a Spurs broadcast. Weird.

Neal at SG and Green at SF as expected.

tony is a 30 year old point guard without a consistent jumpshot who relies on his speed
he also started playing at 19 with deep playoff runs
im suprised hes lasted this long
point guards in parkers mold usually decline around 30
if parker actually made the layups the few times he has been getting to the rim he would be having career numbers
part of the fact is that he doesnt get any fouls for someone who gets to the lane as much as he does when hes clearly being fouled
part of it is his age

Parker was having the same issues this time last year. As far as I can tell, Parker's problems FG%-wise has been blown layups and teardrops he usually makes.

Only four guys on the Spurs can score completely on their own and Neal is one of them.

True. The drop off to No. 5 is steep.
