Well we could certainly use another shooter. And what's better than a 40 year old wing trying to guard all the athletic 2's in the league? But seriously, if this happens is there any shot the Spurs take a look? I doubt it, but you never know.
EDIT* - I, for one, think we should stay away. But, I wouldn't be surprised if Pop brought him in for a work out just to see where he's at, especially with all the injuries lately. I can't imagine how bad he is defensively though..

I thought Fin burnt the Spurs bridge by requested a trade to the Celtics / a "contender"?
It was probably for Pop's good that he requested that trade. Pop was struggling to find good rotations that season and had even started Finley at power forward. With Finley gone it made Pop's job easier because he didn't have to come up with stupid lineups just to get him on the floor.
This is just absolutely glorious news!!n Finley possibly reuniting again.
Explains in part why Pop n Bonner have been having relationship issues.
How's a 40 y/o Finley any better than Bonner? The guy constantly brickedwide open shots. At the age he's at now (and lack of NBA playing), he's going to be worse at everything than Bonner is.
At least Bonner can hit wide open threes.
Big NO to Finley on the Spurs. Good for him to try a comeback, but I don't want him in SA. Dude was washed up years ago. Can't imagine how bad he is now. Don't want to.
Finley would be a good signing. The Spurs need a small forward and he has the corporate knowledge and appropriate fear to blossom in this system. Not to mention how over himself he is right now considering he's been out of the game for two years. Sign him up!
Finley sucked a half decade ago. He turned his back on the Spurs after Pop gifted him minutes for three straight seasons. GTFO of here with this thread. Not funny. No. no. . No.
Oh Dear God, No, Do not want him back with us. No no no
All the a could do years ago was shoot long jump shot's. off, we have other people that i'd rather see make or even brick long 2's.
Corporate knowledge doesn't make up for being completely spent. No thank you
isnt CUBAN still payin of his amnesty contract? lol
I'm completely for it. He can sign a minimum contract, and relieve some of the burden on the young players, as well as providing valuable veteran leadership.
Because, the Thunder need Veteran leadership.
Great one. Completely deadpan. Yes, let's put him on the Thunder.
I forget this dude played with us sometimes, he was supposed to be such a marquee signing in 2006. I guess he did average like 10ppg his first two seasons but after 2007 he was absolute garbage and he turned his back on our team to play on a "contender." him
He's perfect ...
for the Lakeshow.
Are we really discussing this mess?
The meltdown on this message board would reach epic proportions if the Spurs were to even remotely consider him.![]()
New York would love him to add to there collage of elderly all stars
The Spurs are good at SG/SF. And tbh I would be surprised if he gets an offer from any team.
