Davis plays,at least 60 games he will win ROY, people comparing him to Timmay and KG. Lillard being compared to Russ or a young Marbury

Damn, the Spurs almost lost to this team? This whole season must be fool's gold so far.

I don't get this Lillard vs Davis debate. Davis has the potential to be the best player in the league in his prime. As long as Aldridge is in Portland, Lillard won't even be the best on his own team. He may get the ROY this year, but it will be like Evans getting the award a few years ago.

You don't get it because you don't realize that Lillard has the potential to be one of the top PG's in the league.

Of course he does. Big men with two-way potential like his always have that chance. If he gets close to the KG/TD comparisons he'll be right up there with an aging Durant and James in about 7-10 years. He may not be the best then (Durant will still be pretty young), but it wouldn't surprise me if he is. He could make an All-NBA team this year if he stays healthy for the bulk of it.

Injuries happen. The only people who argue that Davis' career is already on the downturn due to the time he's missed are trash-talkers. He could sit out until January and still win the ROY. He may not reach his potential, but I'm not ready to declare him another Roy or Oden yet.
