DEC 13 scheduled on TNT to play the portland blazers, spurs 5th game in 7 nights, second set of b2b game in that duration....blazers get 3 day rest b4 spurs play them...
tankn this game we are doing the blazer players a favor just extending that 1 day from breakin a knee
Lets be clear, it's not screwing Stern it screws the fans who pay good money to watch games. I have no problem with it in general, but don't pretend like it's getting one over on Stern. It's the fans that get the short end of the stick when players are rested. Isn't there a Portland based Spurs fan on here who had tickets last year when we got blown out by 40?
I hope if he does it again then at least the players sit and watch the game, maybe stick around and sign an autograph or two.
