Theres been to many games where theyve been bricking wide open 3s
almost everyones 3 point shooting percentages are down
last nights memphis game was a good example
its been going on the whole season too
its nice to win games without relying on the 3s but this team needs to start hitting them at least semi-consistently to have a chance

In a way yes, in another way if they rely on the three ball that much to fall almost every night and shoot alot of them they are not going anywhere anyways. I said a few years ago what are we the Suns now? I don't like them to keep shooting threes when they are missing, but the last few years they are that team who shoots a ton. I liked the old D Spurs who shot a better PCT. from three and took smart shots, these new Spurs are not that team anymore.

Interestingly, the Spurs are middle of the pack in 3pt %, but are #2 in defending the 3 ball.

I think 3pt% at this point in the season has a lot to do with small sample size more then good defense
well have nights where andrea bargnani goes 2/18 and pads our defense
and the spurs arent just pulling up in transition and shooting 3s
they create them in the half court off pick and rolls
they just arent knocking down anything

Lol at being worried of this, we have to many shooters on this team, they will start falling what do you expect to always hit 3s.

I'm actually encouraged. Winning without shooting Threes at 45%+ bodes well for the playoffs, when we're more likely to face tougher defense, and open threes become tougher to find.

Two of our biggest 3 point shooters are in shooting slumps. Manu went 1-7 against the Grizzlies. Danny went 0-6.

Manu did have a 6-9 shooting night in Orlando and a 2-3 shooting night in washington, but he was 4-20 for the 4 games prior to that. 5-7 against denver, but 4-24 in the 6 games prior to that.

Manu's shooting sub-par from 3 and he's been taking a bunch of them. Our overall mediocre 3 point shooting is largely attributable to him.

Long range shots like that will go in more often as the season goes along. Gotta give them time to get their strokes consistent. It is a lot lower than expected though, but I suspect it'll go up before going down.

Sorta like how Parker started the season shooting just 41% from the field. There's no way that was going to continue, and it hasn't. He's already jacked up his FG% to 49%. At the rate he's going, it looks like it will be even better than last year, possibly being over 50% for the season like it's been in the past.

No, we should be worried about if your man Tiago is more consistent.

Spurs shot badly and we still won that game ... I do not see the problem compared to earlier seasons

I found it encouraging to still beat the top seeded team in the NBA even with the awful off-shooting night.
