    Man does it royaly suck to be a Spurs fan on draft day. You can never get pumped about their pick because its always some obscur pick that noone knows.... ARGH!!!

    I guess I can consider Scola our pick and get excited about that. No way this kid they picked sees the US shores within 2-3 years unless we trade his rights.

    I think it's great. We never have a clue who the they are going to pick, but in 2 or 3 years, everybody in the whole damn league will remember who we picked at #28.

    I was pretty pumped when they picked Parker. Also when they traded Felipe Lopez for AD and Bill Curley for Sean.

    It's funny going to other teams' message boards. Spurs pick some guy nobody has ever heard of and other teams' fans are posting "Why the didn't we draft this guy? How the do the Spurs find these guys? We're getting screwed again."

    Yeah, and the seeds of doubt are probably in the other FOs, too.

    At this point, Pop and RC could draft the Gary Coleman of Kazakhstan and have another team worried that he might have potential.
