Cut him? This might be the dumbest thread ever.

Cut him? This might be the dumbest thread ever.
Why do we need Rasho when we just drafted a center.
The bigman they just drafted is probably not going to be ready for a few years. He wasn't even putting up decent numbers in the league he's in.
Because this guy is at least two years away from seeing an NBA court.
Wasted draft pick.
Trade his ass... Trade his ass.
Nazr/Ian
Tim/Horry/Scola
That looks like a really nice front court.
Stick to urban planning.
I doubt we'll see Ian for a good 2-3 years.
And the cut thing is just re ed - if the Spurs want to get rid of Rasho that's fine, but they had lots of people inquiring about him around the trade deadline this February, you don't cut someone like that.
He's owed guranteed money. He's gonna be on the roster.
WTF are you talking about?!?! Give Rasho $35M + to walk away when we are not even over the luxury tax threshold.
What an idiot.
The guy averaged 5 PPG in FranceThat looks like a really nice front court.Just shut up Buddy Holly.
The Austin To-Be-Named-Later roster maybe....He's gonna be on the roster.
I only suggested the cut thing because... well, I may have the loophole deal wrong. Do the Spurs not get the cap space after they cut the player?
I agree, trade him.
Stupid post. Spurs are not over cap so they cannot cut Rasho. Even if they were, you want to cut Rasho for Ian? Idiot.
He might be on the roster in the NBDL. But there's no guarantee that he's going to be the Spurs main backup bigman. Who knows if the Spurs will even keep him.
This thread is just premature.
This guy is a project. Stupid pick.
The loophole only helps if you are above the luxury tax by giving luxury tax relife. You still have the cap hit and have to pay the contract, so it would make absolutely zero sense to waive Rasho.
Yes you do. No they don't.I may have the loophole deal wrong. Do the Spurs not get the cap space after they cut the player?
Everyone said the same thing about Manu, Tony, Scola, Udrih, and Giricek. Next. This guy is a project. Stupid pick.
Come on folks:
The loophole for cutting players only benefits teams that are OVER THE LUXURY TAX THRESHOLD. THE SPURS ARE NOT OVER THE LUXURY TAX THRESHOLD.
The loophole does not give you capspace. It only prevents you from paying the luxury tax IF YOU ARE OVER THE LUXURY TAX THRESHOLD
Well see, I had the loophole figured wrong.
My fault.
he has guaranteed money, he'll be on our team or traded
Kori posted a nice thread on the New CBA. You should go check it out before applying to become the new Spurs GM.

Raul Lopez Nenad Kristic and Andrei Kirilenko were all drafted in the 1st round and none of them played for their teams the 1st year.
