I heard from a friend that the shooter was 15 and targeted other teens in the mall.

I did say "I heard," and it wasn't first hand information, nor did I assign how accurate I thought it was. I did think it was more reliable than most initial news reports, and I was just trying to be the first here.

Guess I should look at the local news. Haven't turned on the TV yet.

I was waiting to see what political spin others would put on it. I have nothing political to assign to it. I figured it would be a teen rivalry thing. I was likely wrong there, unless he did just shoot at a group of teens and killed the two others instead.
