it's almost January ... tbh
The Spurs gutted out a win in Houston when they were obviously tired. Tonight, they were tired again and almost pulled it out before the late collapse and the buzzer-beater.
Get the Big 3 and whoever else you want on a Southwest Airlines flight and get them to San Antonio ASAP.
F David Stern.
F National Television.
This ‘bout winning championships in June; not regular season games in December.
If it’s $250,000 decision, so be it.
Do it, Pop.
it's almost January ... tbh
gimmie the 250K, I'll suit up!
Amen.
GNSF is going to say that we can't lose b2b with Bos/OKC coming up but that's why they're GNSF tbh.
Duncan didn't look very tired. Does being tired make Neal jack up poorly-selected three pointers?
Or we could take out our frustration and BTHO Portland tomorrow on national tv.
Send pop to home and make him watch Blair playing, maybe he will realize that Blair is
Somebody tell davud sturn. he aint bout dis life.
I'd play them against Portland..
The Spurs struggle in Portland, but the Blazers have the worst bench in the NBA and a few of their guys are suffering from injuries..blow them out early and rest in the 4th, tbh..go hard tomorrow night..
I agree with OP. But my guess Pop rests them but doesn't send them home.
Same type of atmosphere and tough games the Spurs will have to deal with in the summer when they are not steamrolling opponents, if that occurs at all. Spurs backup points also need to figure a good approach to the pressure defense.
I am happy with the whole team trying to figure it out together.
I laughed out loud at that reference. Thanks!

SpursTalk can clamor all it wants, but I seriously doubt Pop will do it again. Consider that they're reluctant to keep James Anderson merely for the sake of staying under the luxury tax.
cojo should be back up pg ..... he can handle the pressure without turnovers
Exactly. Hopefully the Spurs are pissed off enough from this result to take it out on the Trail Blazers tomorrow.
The game to "send 'em home" is the Nuggets game next week.
This one's on Tony.
They needed a rudder, someone to stay the course, and their point guard and leader got impatient.
One of 82 - and they've still got more road wins than the Lakers have wins.![]()
I think Pop has a conspiracy going against Ted Turner.
Just announce it on Twitter so Ben-Stern can't say you didn't tell the league or the opposing team or the network.
No he should not. Every time he's on the court, the other team outscores us. Ginobili should be the backup pg, with Mills as the SG, Bonner as SF, Diaw as the PF and Tiago as the C.
Just tell the league and Failzers beforehand, and there won't be a fine.
I highly doubt the Spurs go down that road again. I'd play the starters for a quarter, quarter and half, then give them the rest of the night off. Besides, as of late the Blazers starting line-up has been Lillard, Pavlovic, Claver, Hickson, and Aldridge. With Jeffries, Babbitt, Leonard, Smith, and Barton coming off the bench....
Duncan put in a lot of work tonight. Manu looks dead tired. TP was running at about 70%. I really wouldn't risk a potential injury.
Three long road trips early in the season have taken their toll.
