To make sure he lucked out in the draft, make sure his prospects were healthy, and get Stern's favor? Did he sell him the souls of the entire state of Oklahoma?

That's why I'm pretty sure it's evil afoot. The Spurs dealt with injuries. The Lakers dealt with injuries. Even Miami had a scare when Bosh went down.

They're just a young team at this point. In a couple of years maybe that crap'll start happening.

Tim Duncan was in his third year when one of his knees gave out with a torn meniscus. Kevin Durant has yet to see such an injury.

I mean I agree they're definitely very very lucky when it comes to injuries...don't think they could surivive any of their top 3 guys going down and still win the chip.

This is why I am glad to see the Spurs subs play up and make their stars stay on the floor. intangibles such as fatigue and injury can't happen to those guys if they sit on the bench.

Brooks gets to coach like fatigue and injuries don't exist. That's a of an advantage, especially against a team like the Spurs that has to be micromanaged to have a chance.

It will bite them in the ass eventually leaving their starters out their when it's a 15+ point game with 5-6 mins left in the game...

I hope, and hopefully it happens at the most opportune time for the Spurs. their lack of fatigue or injuries is strange and abnormal. unless Sam Presti is drafting players from the Weapon X program, it has to catch up to them eventually, especially considering how much they are pushing it.

OKC will never suffer a season ending injury to any of their major players. Never. They are just blessed.

With the way Harden played in the Finals, Thunder might have been better off had he picked up an injury before the Miami series. One of the worst chokejobs I've ever seen.

Westbrook is an iron man. I don't think he has missed a game in college or pros.
