Only Lovie Smith and Andy Reid deserve another shot at being a HC. The rest are just garbage.

I'm surprised Spanos finally grew a pair and fired the Two Stooges regardless of the late-season fluke wins.....

Heckert is out as GM in Cleveland, too.

Shurmur had no business being an NFL HC. Pure nepotism hire by Holmgren.

Heckert deserves to be fired for not landing RGIII.

Even though it's not like they were in great shape before, Holmgren set the Browns' franchise back another 5 years the way he mismanaged them. The worst part is he knew he was mismanaging them but was too fat and lazy to give a .

Should be interesting to see where Smith and Reid land. Both should have jobs sooner than later.

Wow, I figured if Whisenhunt was getting fired it would take a few days so Bidwill could tell everyone how "methodical" the process is.

Idk much about the guy they're supposedly promoting to GM but there's no way he is as bad at talent evaluation as Graves was. Their first priority needs to be keeping Ray Horton even if it means promoting him to head coach and letting him conduct the search for a new DC. Losing him throws the defense into limbo. If he gets promoted to head coach then it means they need to pay top dollar for an OC (highly unlikely given Bidwill's stingy history with assistants). Say what you want about Norv Turner as a head coach but I'd welcome him as OC.

I'd prefer to raid the Texans offensive staff for an OC, or bring back Haley since his system minimized QB hits rather significantly. They need more emphasis on rushing, screens, and short passing until a o-line and QB are in place to expand. They need to pay top dollar for a good QB coach.

They need to keep Horton and give him control over his defensive staff, and heavy input into personnel.

The axis of evil is almost gone! Gailey's out and Fitz's release will save 7-10 mil against the cap. Once Ralph Wilson finally dies then brighter days will be ahead

I don't think Norv would even be a good OC anymore, tbh... the game seems to have passed him by, considering he still thinks seven-step drops, always running up the middle on first and second down, and plays that take forever to develop are winning strategies in today's fast, no-huddle, pass-first NFL...

The Cardinals' special teams coach is one of the few coaches they have who's an asset to the team

You think a healthy Kolb is the answer? I would draft a QB anyway, but I wonder if Kolb could be the glue guy.

The bonus they owe to Kolb if they don't cut him is simply too big to be giving to someone with as much uncertainty as Kolb. He's a goner.

No self respecting coach would ever want to go to Cleveland. Why go there and have a roster only to get canned after 2/3 seasons and have a huge stain on your coaching resume?

Chris Palmer, Butch Davis, Romeo Crennel, Eric Mangini, Pat Shurmur. Those are the non-interim HC that the Browns have had since 1999.

Which one of those guys deserved more rope than they got, other than MAYBE Mangini? Shurmur should never have been an NFL HC in the first place.

Besides, Randy Lerner was the single biggest obstacle to success for this organization, and he's gone.

There are still 32 NFL coaching jobs in the entire world that exist. No matter how much of a disaster any given NFL team becomes, it'll always be able to draw the interest of respected and good coaches because it's still 1 of only 32 jobs that exist.

Buffalo Bills have already set up interviews with Ray Horton (), Lovie Smith, and Doug Marrone (Syracuse HC). Word is that Koetter, Reid, and others will get a look as well.
