No doubt Oregon would have tapped Alabama's ass in the MNC game. Too bad.

The reality is Oregon's loss to Stanford was much less worse than Bama's loss to Texas A&M. I would have voted Oregon #2, but that's not to say that K-State can't still complete in this game and possibly win.

I hate Bama but they would have shut down Oregon just like Stanford did, tbh.....

Why do people keep talking about Oregon vs. Bama? It would have been Oregon vs. Notre Dame.

Best drive they had....their offense finally stayed on the field for more than 3 plays. Like I said, Snyder ed up trying the hard count and cost his ty kicker 5 yards.

Also, now that I think about it, your post doesn't make sense. KSU was forcing the pace by getting stops and running their slow paced offense. Their strategy is to keep oregon's high powered offense off the field.

    Oregon defense really playing well

Been some horrible playcalling/audibles for KSU. Will be shocked if they turn this into a game

Oregon's offense too good. Stanford had better offense and kept them off the field longer.

This is turning into a rout. Oregon could have beaten Bama.

I guess Bill Snyder's decrepit old ass forgot to tell his defense not to run into the endzone after recovering the ball

He turned Cllin Klein into a Heisman candidate, tbh

He's no match for Chip Kelly (like I've said all year)

Chip Kelly's players I'm pretty sure know not to run into their own endzone after recovering the ball

Would have been a better game, for sure, but the one thing that troubles Oregon is physical, dominant, front 7's (and teams that eat clock). On the flip side, the one thing that troubles Bama is a HUNH offense.

Saban is also about a trillion times better of a coach than BS. I think Bama has an edge but you're right, they're more than capable of beating em'.

It would have been Notre Dame vs. Oregon for the 10th time, why do people keep talking about the Bama vs. Oregon hypothetical?

Do any of you guys think Chip Kelly can be successful in the NFL? I don't see it...Would he try to run a similar system? Why doesn't he just stay and win what I think would be an inevitable natty. Are the potential sanctions the only thing that's (maybe) running him off?

I didn't even think about the potential sanctions angle.

IMO he's a great college coach but would be a disaster in the NFL. His system is way too gimmicky. He'd have a great 1st season then would fall off after giving NFL teams a full season of tape to study.
