Woman Accused Of Stealing Thousands From Spurs Arrested



SAN ANTONIO -- A 29-year-old woman who had been on the run for six years after allegedly stealing $75,000 from the San Antonio Spurs was arrested Tuesday.
Christine Lynn Morgan, also known as Christine Lynn Herrera, was apprehended by U.S. Marshals Service at a home in Gaston, S.C.

Authorities said they had to force their way into the home after Morgan refused to open the door.

An arrest warrant was issued in 1999 after Spurs officials discovered the money missing.

Well, $75,000 Is not much to the Spurs but It Is funny how It took 2 more Championships to find her...

It's not that it takes years to find someone. There has to be some court action. If it was Marshal's then that's a Federal Judge or Magistrate putting out a warrant. You can't just toss someone in jail (well at club gitmo anyway)...
