YT video or it didnt happen
I thought you guys might appreciate this...
I live in DC, and went to the Wizards-Nets game last Friday night with a buddy of mine (who happens to be a Rockets fan). We had great seats right next to the visitor tunnel so you can always get high-fives from the visiting team.
Anyway, turns out that Joey Crawford was reffing the game, and as he was walking down the tunnel afterwards my buddy yells "Joey! Joey! High five bro!". Crawford actually looked up, walked over to us and reached out for the high five right as my buddy pulled his hand back and yelled, "That's for Tim Duncan you ugly gnome!".
I almost died laughing.

This story brought a tear to my eye. If true, on of the greatest events to ever take place.
Damn, just added more fuel to the fire when he inevitably refs our playoff games.
I wish that I got it on video. My buddy didn't give me a heads up or anything so I didn't have much time to react. It was just so funny because everyone there is trying to get high fives from the players and yelling for Deron Williams, and all of a sudden Crawford hears his name being called. It was like he was legitimately excited that someone wanted to high five him.
What if now he ejects Tim for something even more ridiculous than laughing (make your own choice) then looks into a camera and says "That was for the high five"
The funny part is that I didn't create it, it was already there on the interwebz, waiting for me, ripe for the picking![]()
Pretty funny - it won't be funny when he is reffing one of our playoff games..
Good story. If true, I'm glad your friend did that. Also if true, expect Crawford to eject Duncan for breathing too hard or blinking too fast.
Tim Duncan ejected for open his eyes too wide after being called for a foul?
This thread is now a "what other internet pics can we find with Lefty's name" lol
Cruel and emotionally hurtful act, regardless of what Joey has done.
