Bama not being #1 is a bigger joke than A&M being #1.
Even bigger than UT being #12.
Boom. Bang.

#1 and #2 are right. The rest could be altered a little bit.
Pre-season rankings from a website are about as valid as Teo's girlfriend.
Agreed, Ole Miss still has the best player in the country to sign so they move up into the top 20 tbh.
Did Bama lose a lot of players to the NFL/eligibility?
I can understand why A&M gets #1, but unless there were a ton of major losses, no reason to bump Alabama down.
And at first glance, it seems like a joke to have Texas at 12, but after seeing who they are ranked ahead of, I guess it's more understandable. Most of those teams have lost major components of their squads, while Texas was pretty much a team of freshmen and sop res, turning into a team of sop res and juniors.
Still seems high though.
Bama and Stanford should be 1/2
In all seriousness I think the top 5 teams are correct but they should be ordered differently. Hard to say who's going to be the better team between Oregon and Stanford next season but they are far and away the best from the PAC. Ohio State will be in the conversation with Braxton Miller coming back and there incredibly easy schedule. Wouldn't surprise me to see them have a similar season next year tbh.
As for A&M and Alabama it doesn't really matter who's ranked where when that showdown happens September 14th, 2013. Week 3 of the College Football season. This showdown is huge. With LSU having to play UGA and Florida from the East next season, this showdown in College Station could determine who represents the West in the SECCG.
lol Texas at 12. Waaaaay too many questions marks.
Does Ash take the leap?
Can Applewhite recover from Davisitis?
Will Diaz die in a fire?
Will Mack die from yellow tooth?
Can Okafor get a fifth year?
Looks like the kiss of death for A&M. Oregon State will be very good next year. Hopefully we can challenge Stanford and the Ducks.
So according to that list Texas is supposed to win the Big 12? I don't know what is more laughable, Texas being the top Big 12 team or aggsy being #1.
No matter I love it. Next season will be fun, I love it when aggy fans get all worked up about how good they will be only to fall flat on thier faces. Next year should be legendary.

I'm surprised that the Irish didn't make the top five in any of those lists. Stanford-Alabama would be an intriguing le matchup though.
