    Why don't they just stay in their home city and do everything to heal rather than travel the country with the team.. you see it all the time. I'm sure they are recovering with team on road but surely it'd be better for them to not fly and stay home

    Depends on the injury tbh. You can still with a sprained ankle abroad, though.

    Must be in the contract that says if you are able to travel, injured or not that you have to be with your team.

    This has always been my explanation. Will Sevening is always with the team, I would expect that is the reason that injured players follow along if they can.
