I notice you always have a harsh response to the mentioning of reddit. The pretentious thing seems to disappear past the front page, imo. Did you have a bad experience there or something?

The front page is all that counts, it's the that gets enough upvotes. There's plenty of subreddits that I love for pumping my penis but the that makes it to the front page is the that represents reddit.

I LOATHE their obsessive liberal/atheist hivemind mentality and the self-righteous bull like the AMAs and the "feel good" crap. Funnyjunk is the same way except a more adolescent version. I love /b/ because they don't seek validation through upvotes or thumbs, sometimes your thread hooks and sometimes it gets no one, big deal. Also, there's legitimate arguments on every subject. Once you get used to scrolling through the s, furry porn, and gore you see the best of the best, both funny and interesting, and unless you're there to save it it's most likely never gonna be seen again since there's no archives

I have no disagreements with you on the frontpage subreddits. I'm atheist and somewhat liberal and I couldn't stand the either subreddit.

It's the subreddits like askscience that keep me there though, and the upvotes and archiving make sense in that setting.... but yeah, I see what you mean. Dunno if I can get into 4chan... I don't doubt there's good there... I'm just apprehensive about sorting through the immature material.

The atheism circle jerk is the worst part of Reddit but otherwise I like a lot of the sub reddits. I do ing hate the climate and enviromental subreddits though. Those ers are insane and piss me off to no end.
