I played an interesting shooting game last weekend with a bunch of good shots....They had an electric trap thrower and also home field advantage...they shot there every weekend.

There were 10 guys. Everybody puts in $10.

Shooter 1 & 2 step up and they throw the clay for #1. He has to shoot while the clay is still rising or #2 can break it after it tops out and give shooter 1 an "X". If shooter #1 breaks it but doesn't powder it then shooter #2 can shoot at any broken piece he wants. If he chips a broken piece shooter #1 gets and "X". Three X's and you are out. Shooter #2 then takes the position of shooter #1 and #3 takes the position of shooter #2. Etc. Last shooter out wins the pot.

That sounds like a hoot! I haven't been trap shooting in years, but I was pretty stinking good at it as a kid.

I took the wrong gun. This was my wife's sisters BD party in east Texas and my wife just told me they were gonna "shoot some clays" so I took my Browning over/under .410 thinking we would just play around. . Didn't realize it was a money shoot and these guys were serious. I made it to the final two but lost right at the end. Left too big a chip. I only took two boxes of s s so I bowed out after that round but I will be prepared next time. Those guys shot all afternoon and the pots were always between $100 and $150.
