First time some of you will get to see the force that is Michael Beasley.
I keep the games entertaining by counting the amount of horrible shots both he and Shannon Brown take every night. Over/under is around 7 (combined). More if Beasley actually get minutes.
Ive never seen a player who feels he needs to shoot EVERY TIME he touches the ball, but thats Michael Beasley.
ace edit ur op & add in blair he deserves it ................
This is off-topic but we should win our next 5 games. The Pistons game might be tough though.
And I've seen Beasley in Minnesota. He is is selfish and is garbage in every aspect except for the occasional game (1 in 30?) where he looks like a #2 pick.
the bane pain train part 2
Tim Duncan (sore left knee) and Gregg Popovich (sick) will both miss tonight's Spurs-Suns game, 3rd straight.
Beasley's PER has gone down every year since his rookie season, unfortunately he will never become the player his talent suggested he could.
I'll be interested how Splitter defends Scola, I still remember him abusing Blair with his jumpshot everytime we played against him when he was with Houston.
Duncan and Pop out again. Not sure what's going on there...
well that sucks...
3 days off after tonight. Might as well let Duncan keep resting. Should be able to win without him. Not sure what is going on with Pop. Hope he's alright.
The flu this year ain't no joke, pop probably got that wild strain.
I'm not worried about Pop. Maybe he wants to be 100% before he goes near the team again.
Duncan, on the other hand, I'm somewhat concerned. Maybe he was just told to take the weekend off. I'll be panicked if he's not good to go against Charlotte.
and in other game related news, Aron Baynes probably will not be inbounding the ball tonight?
Pop probably does have the flu. If he's still feeling sick, it's best for him to stay home rather than pass it to the whole team.
Tim was never going to play either game of the back-to-back, though. I'm sure that was determined days ago. He both needs the rest and deserves it.
Im sure the whole Stern thing is whats making it harder to communicate whats really going on.
i bet you timmy is fine but this is the right opportunity for him to rest without giving explanation to stern.
Whos restin him since Coach Pop is at home?
Maybe Tim is resting but Pop just won't say because of restgate? It doesn't sound too bad either way.
Maybe someone should call the Maharaja and find out if he's had a mid 60's, short fused, doesn't like to be ask questions sort of fellow pay a visit this week?
If you can't pick when to rest Timmy, then giving him a mini vacation in the middle of the season as soon as you have an excuse is probably the best way to go about it. I wonder if the two of them are swimming in the VI.
JMcDonald_SAEN Bud on Pop's health: "He's better, but still not great. He still wants to keep the team protected and safe."
Jeff McDonald @JMcDonald_SAEN Budenholzer said decision to hold Duncan out tonight was made mostly by Duncan himself, in consultation with team docs.
