1. Men used to dress like ing men. We use to take pride in our appearance. I wear a nice tie to work, other guys look at me like I am nuts. Wearing suits, men should start doing it instead of looking like ing slobs.
2. The media is responsible. How many ing commercials or sitcoms do you see where the man is a slob only interested in sports and beer, and the ing woman is bastion of all reason. It is ing bull .
3. Parenting. Parents are so scared of some bad happening to their precious ing snowflake that they hide their child from the real world. Self-esteem is important. There are no losers. This crap leads to men no being able to or having the knowledge to compete in the real world.

tbh everything you said was good, but especially this. It's good to expose a child to adversity at some point. If you baby him, keep him in his own sacred bubble, he might be fine through high school, or even college for that matter, but as soon as he/she hits a roadblock it's all downhill from there. Children that have to grow up through adversity are more likely to succeed because they know how to handle life when it gets rough whereas the sheltered students, who only know 4.0s, will their pants as soon as they don't get their way.
