something for a kid, that will be mainly filled with educational apps, and youtube viewing only..
i dont think i need anything 3g/4g LTE....not buyin used either...mainly using wifi
so whats the perfect size GB and version u guys recommend?

I say Kindle Fire. You can borrow books off of Amazon, so that's nice to get for reading, and there are a lot of free books to download for free as well. I download a new book each night and read it to my 6 year old. It's simple enough to use that my 4 year old figured out how to turn the volume up and down and search for apps that I downloaded. Just make sure you require a password when purchasing things. My son spend $25 on coins for Temple Run. Amazon credited my account back and I locked up my account after that.
reason i ask this i had 64gb ipad 1
the recharge pins on the system was either eroding or some that it hardly charges...
brought it to the kiosk to get it check, to my surprise those idiots that u call technicians are no different to ur daily users...who can come up with the same solution if they had access to the utility software they were using...it was like they weren't doing a hard diagnostic openning it up and ...
they wanted 80bucks to get one thats been battery refurbished, or a 280bucks get a refurbished same model
i looked at its latest models only they had better then the ipad1 was just 3/4g, better screen and specs....everything else is no different...
didnt part with anything and just took my ipad home and give it another try b4 opting to buy a refurbished unit....
the iPad 1 is gonna run newer apps slow as if at all. better screen and specs is pretty much the whole unit...
Google Nexus 7 is very good and cheap
