- launcher (if you use a different one)

4.1.2 though?
get that 4.2 son
I woud have to switch to anoter ROM, as it looks like J-BAM developer is giving up on my phone
Probably gonna switch to PACMAN ROM
But isnt the difference between 4.1.2 and 4.2 minimal ?
yeah a few optimizations here and there, and the whole multi-user fiasco
though 4.2 gave birth to some great kernels.
does PARANOIDANDROID develop for the one-S? cop that
yeah PA develops for the One S
But I prefer ROMS that combine AOKP, PA and CM (JellyBAM, or PACMAN)
Ok now post your screens !
Beautiful Rez
No root/flash yet ?
Hey!
Just left JellyBAM ROM
its a great one, but it looks like the dev wont update it anymore for the One S
So I switched to a 4.2.1 ROM, Baked Black Bean 7
Great ROM............ so far
I just miss the 4.1 lockscreen clock design
hah yeah, alot of people i know detest the bold hour, non bold minute thing, some roms implemented the old 4.1 design lockscreen clock though
or look for the cm clock/weather/calender hybrid widget "chronus"
My ROM didn't come with the bold/non bold , pheeew...
It came with the Nexus 4 lock clock (when it was on 4.1)
So I can replace since it seems to be widget based?
Edit : Chronus is already built in my ROM (in lockscreen settings)
They have renamed it Lock Clock

It's rooted, has a custom ROM but with sense.
One of my fears coming to HTC was the lack of dev support, and it's true so far. There's only like 5 ROMs for the AT&T/Telus version of the one X+, but the international version has CM 10.1. Hoping to see it ported over to my phone soon.
ah ok
doesnt the CM 10 for ATT work on telus as well?
Edit: you mentioned 10.1
But I think you will see more ROMS, as the X+ is more recent than the One S
even CM10, wifi, data and BT not working, so useless, tbh.
The Only issue is I don't think many people own the X+ (since many bought the X), so there's likely to be less support for it. Ah well I'll wait and see by spring.
Last one I had uploaded. Realized after that I had two game icons, the one on the bottom right should be for Google Apps.![]()
MIUI icons?
also what phone-launcher-rom etc
Yep, I'd like to do something more intricate but it's so time intensive, and I'm not sure I want to invest it into a screen that's mainly supposed to be functional anyway.
Evo LTE (before it got totaled by a rogue bike chain, long story), running Meanrom ICS 5.6. Nova Prime launcher.
You havent found a JB ROM that you really like yet ?
(IIRC you have tried one)
Galaxy Note running CM10
Nova Launcher with DCIikonZ Theme. Clock and weather etc built using Bits Pro. Dock icons built using Simple Text.

so i can only do that fancy stuff if i root?
since im noob at this...whats the point of changing launcher again?
^ more features, mainly
^prior to flashing to 4.2,
nowadays i haven't gotten the "urge" to pimp out my homescreens lol
too much time consuming for something so.. unnecessary? imo
Not necessarily. Most of the apps I used to build my screen did not require root. Bits Pro does tho.
Some advanced features of launchers *might* require root.
Touchwiz does a terrible job of managing space on a screen. I can add additional rows/columns with Nova Launcher, and can even re size widgets (which is what I did on my home screen for the Flipboard widget).
