this was like an everyday occurrence in his prime....I miss those days dearly....he especially saved his best MJ and Wilkens-esque dunks for Duncan and Robinson..he clowned those 2-footers like it was no body's bizness...he literally had no respect for them in the paint...all of his best dunks are against the Spur big men dunking on them at will...it's why Spur fan hates him so much![]()
It should be the dunk of the year...one of his best ever tbh....let's look at it in slow-mo this guy is incredible...we should all appreciate it while he's still playing...
this should give us all chills

watch Jamison's face...it was like he just masturbated for the first time in his life
Kobe's still got it, one of the best in game perimeter dunkers of all time behind Carter and Wilkens.
Head 2 feet below the rim. Wallace and Lopez weren't ready for Kirby's lack of elevation on that play.
Lakerfan with the hurricane bads over a below average dunk.

Brooklyn crowd chanting "MVP" for Kobe in the fourth quarter... It sure was nice of Brooklyn to provide a multi million dollar arena for The Lakers to play in front of their Brooklyn fans..
Tht's embarassing to be honest.
that pretty it is mostly wherever they go ...... even when they go to San Antone which is pretty hilarious.
Yes, we get it, Kirby set the record for most boring dunk of all time last night....
The Nets moved to Brooklyn this season, it's a franchise with no history or roots in Brooklyn, i think it's a natural reaction from the fans tbh and you can't expect them to become die hard fans overnight.
Right now a chunk of the people going to the games are probably just glad they have a place near them where they can watch NBA's biggest stars compete.
And Kobe heard MVP chants in plenty of NBA arenas throughout his career, he even heard MVP chants in Boston, Boston of all places.
This is actually true. ATT is usually about 30% lakers fans when the lakers come to play. I was there for that January game where kobe hit a shot that put them up by two points with about 11 seconds left after being down by a ton then made the "I have big balls" sign to the spurs bench as the spurs called a time out. The place was deafening. Then Roger Mason Jr came out of the time out, made a ridiculous two point shot while being SHOVED out of bounds. The crowd got a little bit louder at that shot. Then when he hit the free throw, we about blew the roof off the place. The loudest cheer was reserved for when he turned around, looked straight at kobe, and did the big balls sign to him.
Bean3rs now make up about 30% of the US population (official number is 16%, but with all the undo ented illegals, that figure is at least twice as high), so it stands to reason there will be plenty of Laker fans around the country, especially in Texas.
as it should be .......
not a great dunk, but a pretty good dunk. calling it average or below average is silly or simply hating. i think why it's viewed as impressive at all is because Kobe did show some explosion to get by a good defender in Wallace and to dunk it against a contest at this stage of his career and at his age when it's more rare to see him make that kind of move these days. Kobe fanbois make too much of it because it wasn't spectacular or anything, while Kobe critics are trying to discredit it as a nothing dunk when it's clear that it was better than average. it's obviously somewhere in the middle. if the dunk happened 5-10 years ago, it wouldn't really be special at all. the fact he dunked it in a halfcourt set late in a relatively close game instead of settling and pulling up for a fade-away jumper or trying some up and under lay-up to avoid contact to me is why it might be at least a little impressive.
The funny thing is, when Griffin dunks, Lakerfan throws a fit..."offensive foul, monkeyball, all he can do is dunk, that won't happen in the playoffs, etc."
But when Kirby dunks once (in boring-ass, TOSB fashion) suddenly it's supposed to be a major event in NBA history![]()
you're a troll right?
Clipper Nation- I don’t know any Clippers insiders…Is there any truth to the Pau Gasol for Blake Griffin rumors?
You wish that was even a rumor...
