Personally this is my favorite:

What I saw was a man I don't know, a man I should be ashamed to say I hate. I saw a worker at the top of his craft, a worker committed to the hard, messy work of trusting in something larger than himself.

Kobe has never trusted a single one of his teammates, ever, except maybe for Derek Fisher.

How the is Kobe turning over a new leaf when he is essentially taking the ball out of one of the most efficient PGs in NBA HISTORY so he can DOMINATE the assist column?

No. This is just another rendition of "Kobe getting his". It has nothing to do with trust or allowing teammates to play well.

It's simply a way for Kobe to see lots of crooked numbers next to his name on the stat sheet at the end of the day.
