Sucks. Hate what cancer can do to people. Wouldn't wish it upon the worst of people.

That really sucks, Lakerfans.... I know our teams and fanbases hate each other, but you never want to hear stories like this, tbh...
Goddamn, what a horrible season for Lakerfan. Tough news to hear regarding one of the best owners in sports. Cancer.
He should've left the team to Jeanie. He'll be missed...don't know what you got till it's gone and you're left with Jim
I wish him peace & serenity, my prayer goes with him.
Agreed, never want to see anybody die even if i hate their franchise. Hope he survives this
this.
i've seen what cancer can do up close. peace, strength, and condolences to the buss family.
only on ST
Terrible news. Having lost a father to cancer, that is not an ordeal I would wish on anybody.
At least Jerry had a of a ride and leaves behind a legacy. Best wishes to the Buss family and all of their supporters.
That's terrible.
The chances are probably slim, but I hope he makes it through.
Laker hate aside, that is devastating.
TOSB tbh
Hope he gets better. There hasn't been many better owners in the history of sports
End of an era for sure, beginning of an error. Hope he goes out pain-free at least. One of the best owners in any franchise ever I'd say.
get the gates of ready it won't be long now...
Hopefully his death means the beginning of long-term Laker mediocrity.
Kobe strikes again!
Just kidding, he may be a capitalist pig, but best wishes to him and his family.
Sucks to hear. Before Buss the LA Lakers only had 1972 to hang their hats on, but since they have been the league's premeire franchise. The Goodrich for Magic deal preceded him, but man, they made some great moves after he took over like trading for the pick that became Worthy and trading Nixon for Byronn Scott. Surely in that day and age he had a lot of input as to what the team did. Hope it's not his time yet, but he'll be missed by all NBA fans if it is.
