No . Durant's passing game is nowhere near as good. Also Tracy was pretty underrated defensively. He was the first to effectively shut down Dirk in the playoffs until '07 when Jackson did it again.
offensively i dont think durant is anywhere near tmac, tmac could actually score on you in anyway you want from him, whether shooting 3s, midrange, or inside...dudes offensive game was the best to watch how he did it so effortlessly without trying...too bad he played in ty situations orlando and houston...
t-mac ain't white and scrappy enough to shut down dirk imho. it was a white & scrappy guy named ryan bowen who shut him down in 05' playoffs if i remember correct, mavs still ended up winning that series though
Bowen (fitting name lol) played 18 minutes a game in the playoffs. Not enough to say he shut down Dirk who played 43 minutes a game.
TMac was a destroyer in his prime.

t-mac was brilliant against mavs in 05 and he was the main reason they could drag us to 7 games, while the 7'6 trash was nearly invisible throughout the series despite his size, but i do believe he was more remembered for his scoring and leadership rather than his defense tbh
how much of yaos decline and playoff failure was more to the fact he had to play with the NT in the summer....another first round virgin...

The guy has no game in him, don't know why he is playing In China, maybe he just loves the game of basketball. Other than that I would say he is one of the greatest talents to ever play but also mentally weak.
d-league is more compe ive than china's league imho, and i bet if you send a WNBA team oversea they would also bag a row of championships in china w/o facing any serious challenge. playing in china might feel even easier than playing in highschool league for these s imho
