Anybody else playing this? Most fun I've had in a long, long time
PvP - Vehicles - Zombies - Survival - Pretty much everything I ever wanted a rolled up into one
Standalone will be coming along eventually.
I just downloaded the Steam version of the mod, and can't get that to launch. But yeah, with some people to play with, it is alot of fun.
Looks pretty good from the videos, how is it a few days later? I'm thinking about buying it.
Gotta buy Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead in order to DL the MOD. Community is over 1.5 million with 6K+ servers.

This game was great many months ago when the servers were hacker free. Haven't played in months though, so I'm unsure if that is still a problem. Good hacker free servers that you know of?
Hacker free servers in Dayz are rare, but if you go through the whitelisting ( http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/...isted-servers/ ((EG)) process you can find them... There are others..Just search "whitelist DayZ" and plenty should come up... Also, Euro servers tend to have fewer hackers.
Private Hives with active admins are just fine for me, I've only been playing a couple months and usually go days between Hacker encounters.
Avoid public servers and you should be good.
