Rumor is the Mavs are gonna send Dahtnay Jones and Roddy to Milwaukee for Beno Udrih.

    http://espn.go.com/blog/dallas/maver...-pg-beno-udrih

The odds of the Mavericks pulling off a blockbuster deal before the trade deadline are still extremely slim, but Dallas has been in discussions about upgrading its backup point guard spot.

The Mavs have targeted Milwaukee’s Beno Udrih, ESPN.com’s Marc Stein reports.

However, the Bucks have much bigger priorities -- trying to land Atlanta forward Josh Smith – and could need Udrih’s $7.4 million expiring contract to make that deal work.

If the Mavs deal for Udrih, Dahntay Jones and Rodrigue Beaubois could be headed to Milwaukee, although those terms aren’t set in stone.

The 30-year-old Udrih is averaging 6.7 points and 3.5 assists while shooting 47.5 percent from the floor in 18.4 minutes per game this season. Udrih, a starter in Sacramento for three years before joining the Bucks last season, has career averages of 9.1 points and 3.5 assists.

Didn't Cuban once say he wouldn't trade Beaubois for anything less than a superstar like Kobe or LeBron?

It was something like that. I can't remember.

Cuban should've watched the how the Spurs handled Hill. Then he'd have known how to sell high.

"There’s maybe one or two guys in the league that I would trade him for," Cuban said. "That’s it. Other than that, he’s pretty much untouchable."
That's pretty incredible. Of course it could also be public posturing. As a Mavs fan, hopefully that's the case.

Just another of the many examples that show us why nobody should take MavKrew's BB opinions seriously, tbh.

It was worse than that. I know there was a 4th player he involved in the comparison, I just forget who.

roddy has the potential and i guess some fans would regret making the deal if he grows into a superstar elsewhere, but it may not be a bad move to send him out now, instead of wasting his talent on the bench when carlisle would rather play TOSB mike james over roddy. Udrih is a real PG, something them mavs have been missing bad with kidd gone. dude's stats ain't impressive but his efficiency is rather good, and his ability to read the game will give the mavs exactly what they need, no matter playing as a starter or off the bench
