To be fair, Durant took 11 FT and Westbrook only had 3. Also, Durant had 5 turnovers and Westbrook had 4. Assuming that each of them had one and-1 (I watched the game but didn't keep track of those), that comes out to:

Durant: 23 possessions used, 26 points
Westbrook: 32 possessions used, 25 points

Yes, it's still comical that Westbrook uses more possessions than Durant, and not surprising that Durant has a better PPP number (points per possession), but the "27 shots vs. 13 shots" doesn't tell the whole story.

Westbrook was in hero mode all night. I do love that right handed layup move he has though where he kind of scoops it around the defender.
