Don't see him wanting to leave Indiana, they are a contender in the East. If he does, I'd happily offer him as much as we can
He's soon 33 and a knee surgery survivor. You don't wanna overpay that in a one way player.
There seems to be a massive disparity on opinions of David Wests defence. Some on here say he's great, some say he's horrible. The main thing for me is that he is getting major minutes on the best defensive team in the league, that tells me he is good enough not to be a liability if came to San Antonio.
Age is an issue. West is getting $10m this year, if he's going to get paid less this summer then we have a real shot at him. I have a feeling he will get another contract around $10m per though, which might put him out of our price range.
West/Splitter would be a great front court together and could give Duncan some great rest through the year which is of paramount importance IMO.
