Does anybody know of any coaches, either head coach or assistant (past or present), that actually played for the Spurs at some point in their careers before they moved on to coaching? What about executives?
For coaches I have:
-George Karl
-Mike D'Antoni
-Maurice Cheeks
-Avery Johnson
-Monty Williams
-Vinny Del Negro
-Terry Porter
-Mario Elie
-Chuck Person
-Pete Meyers
-Paul Pressey
-Keith Smart
-Larry Krystkowiak
-Tyrone Corbin
-Marc Iavaroni
-John Lucas
-Mike Dunleavy
-Allan Bristow
-Jacque Vaughn
-Ime Udoka
For executives I have:
-Danny Ferry
-Steve Kerr
-Dell Demps
-Rod Higgins

Thanks!!
Looking at that graphic....it looks like Mark Bryant was the only name I couldn't think of, that actually played for the Spurs.
No problem
Nice. Interesting too see how Orlando and OKC went all in with Spurs` based staff.
I hate the tenuousness of some of these "connections". Mo Cheeks does NOT belong on this list. He refused to even get an apartment in SA, living at an airport hotel until he forced a trade in less than a season. I hate the fact that he ever wore the black and silver more than any player except Rodman.
A lot of ty coaches
