Even as a Spurs fan, that was pretty sweet. Bynum with the classy exit.

You can have all those wins. A four game curbstomping and sending Phil to the retirement home in disgrace is more than enough for me.

    - and Mavs being irrelevant (again I might add - just like ole times ) is good enough for me. at letting Daddy Tyson walk to the Big Apple.

So many great Faker fails in that series.

Ron Ron at 10:56 getting blocked by the rim on a wide open dunk. I think that happened at least once in every game of the series.

Least Peja got his revenge for 02.

The fact that Lakerfans have to constantly deflect and discredit Dallas shows just how traumatic an asspounding it was for them

The Lakers being irrelevant as you put it is temporary. This is something we both know. Dallas OTOH, not so much. And at monostat thinking I give two s about what happened 2 years ago. She's holding on to det series win like there's no tomorrow. Well, I guess I can't blame her tbh.

Oh I didn't want to, but monostat keep holding onto the past instead of acting like somebody. It's hard not giving her a reality check tbh.

Not with Dr. Buss gone. His son is a moron and has the potential to completely destroy what his father built. I would get used to the idea of mediocrity if I were you.

Without that son we don't have 15 & 16. Kobe woulda run Bynum off.

You didn't need Bynum to win # 15. That Magic team was horrendous. 'That son' was also the one who hired _antoni and thought it was a good decision.

This is temporary. LA has deep pockets and is a prime destination for FAs. Jim is a moron, but the Laker brand is bigger than his dumbass.

The team they put on the floor should have been better than it is right now, but for various reasons, it is not. No need to bank on the fact that the good Dr. is gone and expect the Lakers to not rebound at some point in the near future. I'm sure you were one that thought when Showtime was over, so was the chance of the Lakers getting back on top. Before you know it, Shaq/Kobe came along. Then Kobe/Pau. Then Kobe/Pau/D12. Then D12/???

Bottom line: the Lakers will always be a place where stars will flock to. It's just a matter of timing. Who knows, maybe the Kang is next. He can opt out in 2014 and we just so happened to have a ton of cap space that year. We'll see what happens tbh.
