Should we start rueing now??
Wow just nasty!
we didnt get to see him do that in SA but happy hes doing well somewhere else.
Like we lack wings?
JA can't hold Kawhi's jock.
Who cares about one dunk anyway? His numbers this year were better in SA than they have been in Houston.
Anyone remember Anderson would ALWAYS miss or get blocked on his dunk attempts with Sa? No idea why but it was frustrating as lol, the dunks he missed would've been nasty too.
typical stuff here.
Just shut up and enjoy the play. We are not analyzing anything here or saying we need JA or miss him.
JA was always liked by people in this board and I thought some will enjoy seeing him do that. Thats all.
Did you see the post I quoted, stupido?![]()
It's just one dunk - a damn fine one - but there's no cause for us to pause and "rue the day" JA left town.
Good for him. Like Beno, he probably benefitted from a change in system/scenery. Wish him well, but we have what we need at the plodding SF spot.
Good for James Anderson, good guy just didn't fit in the SA scheme
He was never in compe ion with KY, even if he was gonna play SF that would have been at the expense of Jack, it doesn't make sense to go out of your way to compare him to one of our top 4 player really.
Fun fact : James Anderson's PER = Danny Green's PER but hey we were too stacked to keep him... So stacked with specialists who can't dribble and the likes not like the bench could use more playmaking... You can tell me what you want, at the end of the season what we will see will be on Pop, be it good or bad, if we lose a game 7 because Green leaves 6pts in layups on the table, don't try to diffuse the situation, it'll be on Pop, bar none, he made him his undispusted starting SG for a while now, never trying anyone else so he likes what he sees.
it didn't take Paranoid Pop long to be the semen shield of James Anderson
Thanks for sharing.
I loved the typical JA reaction. Hard to tell if he just finished a posterizing dunk or doing his taxes.
Danny Green is better than James Anderson. Only abortion survivors like Paranoid Pop think otherwise.
lol half-aborted
Come on man. I really wish Anderson was as good as you think he is. I think we all wish that. It would have been awesome to have two young wings. But Anderson lost a fair compe ion. It just wouldn't make sense to say, "Yeah, Green beat you out, but you're better than him. So even though you don't play like you're better than him, we'll keep you around." Anderson started the season at the two last year and just couldn't get it done. I do wish they have picked up his option just to see if he could have gotten better, but I understand why they didn't. Green did and does give the Spurs the best chance to win.
The shame is that before his injury, Anderson did look like he was going to be better than Green. That foot really stopped him from reaching his potential. But I don't think the Spurs go out and get Kawhi if Anderson stays healthy in 2010. For that reason alone, I don't regret what's happened with the rotation since.
Damn, looking at the video, it doesn't really seem like Anderson can jump that well now. That foot is still bothering him.
The guy is still a got, tbh.
I'd love for a study to be done on the IQ's of people that regularly use the words: " got" or "re ".
He's been playing decently for Houston this season. He always struck me as one of those guys who needed some consistent playing time to find his stride, and he's finally getting that in Houston (averaging 20 minutes in his last 10 games)
on this play Danny would probably get blocked or miss a pussy layup... Still Anderson can't shoot, so Danny is better at that, at least until the playoffs when he'll go ''I'm not on the court'' mode.
The pre-injury JA would start next to KL this year, I think every single person knows that from Spurstalk...
