Here's the problem I bet:
Both packages would create a pathway to citizenship for the nation’s 11 million undo ented immigrants.

WC's well known history on the subject of border enforcement .... makes me think he'd do something differently...
"Iowa Rep. Steve King"
Even many Repugs want rid of this asshole for the same reasons they want rid of all such assholes, like Rape Caucus asshole Akin.
"will press Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) to move an overhaul of immigration laws through committees and to allow amendments on the floor."
such as totally unrelated tax breaks and subsidies for the 1% and corps, secrect amendments, too, like Blunt's secret Monsanto Shield Act.
I went to kickapoo recently and noticed all the border patrol security. All of their vehicles were f-250 or f-350 vehicles and wernt hauling anything. Why? Why are u going to buy a 50 or $60k vehicle when all u need is ur basic f150 4x4. Im all for law enforcement having the best of the best but an f350 isnt gonna do anything different chasing an illegal than and f150. Big waste of tax payer money right there. I saw atleast 30 vehicles just chilln on the side of the road.
That's 11 Million democratic votes right there.
_JaG better not speak the truth or the leftist will call you a racist.
One word:
Schadenfreude.
It's all part of a Democratic master strategy. MUAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
We have collectively decided that the best thing for our strategy is to simply find issues where the nutters driving the GOP bus can have all the opportunity in the world to say stupid that very clearly demonstrates just how far to the slobbering right the GOP has gone.
It is very clear to me taht the GOP has gone off the deep end for a while now, and it makes me happy that the Democratic leadership has FINALLY glommed on to this obvious strategy.
it depends on how the GOP plays its hand. for Hispanic voters in 2012 the split was 66%-34% in favor of Obama. the split was 54%-46% in 2004, so there's no reason in principle the GOP couldn't improve.
