ZBOG brojnih ozljeda, koje ga nisu nimalo štedjele, Toni Kukoč je razmišljao o povlačenju s parketa. Međutim, Toni, za kojeg su zainteresirani San Antonio Spursi i Miami Heatsi, kaže kako bi volio odigrati još jednu sezonu u Chicagu.

37-godišnji košarkaš tvrdi da mu nikada nije dosadno igrati košarku, ali zbog terapija nije mogao igrati sa 100 posto učinka.
"Problem su mi terapije koje su mi svaki dan uzimale po dva-tri sata da bi se odigralo nekih 15-20 minuta. To me ubijalo." - rekao je Toni koji smatra da se posljednjih godina podigla kvaliteta hrvatske košarke.
"Hrvatska reprezentacija je pokazala napredak posljednjih godina, na posljednjem prvenstvu izgubili su tri susreta s pola koša. Kada se prijeđe ta granica dobije se na sigurnosti. Ako naši igrači budu vjerovali u sebe mogu se očekivati još bolji rezultati." - zaključuje Toni Kuk

Way back when, I think it was Buck Harvey that wrote an article about Lloyd Daniels. It stated simply enough that Lloyd Daniels couldn't guard a mannequin. It may have been the context of the article but it was the funniest thing I've ever read from Buck. I just kept laughing and laughing every time I read it.
But it goes back to what I said before. I figured the lure of an additional ring wouldn't be an advantage when trying to get Kukoc to join the team, especially when it comes by playing 5-10 minutes a game every other game, or worse yet, riding the inactive list at times. Assuming the Bulls want him, which they should, he's a lock to go up there.
Eat ...most of us realize Kukoc is done...didn't want him, don't care what he does, and in fact are actively happy that he thinks he's too good to play here.
