n64 raw vs smackdown << the improved double teaming finishing moves is awesome
n64 gauntlet legends << can play 4 players co-op, dunno how many levels there were, but didnt manage to finish the game
n64 umm mortal kombat 3 ultimate or mk4
for those that own the n64, did you guys every bought the expansion pack which added underneath the console? how about the extra 4mb of video memory that slots into the memory hole of the console?
If I had to pick my favorite SNES games, in no specific order they would be
1. Final Fanstasy II/IV (originally released as II in the USA, but I think it was later re led IV since it was the fourth FF (2nd and 3rd were only released in Japan)) - Incredible graphics for the time, great storyline, and of course long gameplay hours
2. Chrono Trigger - Favorite RPG ever. Awesome storyline.
3. Actraiser - Alternated between awesome side-scoller Caslevania style game and a fun god-mode builder.
4. Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past - My second favorite Zelda game; great soundtrack, amazing storyline, and possibly the best overhead adventure game ever. A completely flawless game.
4. Super Mario World - My favorite Mario game ever. It's a huge game with top-notch sound and music (the SNES murdered Genesis on it's sound effect and music quality). Yoshi was a great addition to the Mario family and the level design is amazing in this one.
5. Super Mario World 2 - Love the art style in this game centered around Yoshi.
6. F-Zero - A launch le racing game with the best music I have ever heard in a game. It really controls well and the courses are awesome. Tremendous replay value.
7. Uniracers - Really fun and very fast racing game (though you're racing unicycles instead of cars).
8. Donkey Kong Country - No one could believe the graphics when it came out. Really good control and lots of fun.
9. Super Mario RPG - SNES absolutely killed on RPGs, and this was was surpriseingly awesome. I liked how they threw in a feautre where you could make your attack stronger if you timed it right.
I'm sure I'm forgetting some amazing games, but these are the first ones to come to mind when I think of the SNES

Forgot about Earthbound. Awesome RPG, but maybe play that one on SNES9X for that price.
Wasn't a huge fan since they made the graphics look too smoothed. I don't know: I like the dirty pixellated SMB1 much better on NES.-Super Mario All-Stars
Contains Super Mario 1-3 + the lost levels from the Super Famicon. Tends to go around 10-25 dollars on ebay.

Wow, how'd I forget that one on my list?-Castlevania 4
The game features scrolling action with platform jumping and combat. Tends to go around ebay for 35-50 dollars on ebay.

I liked SF2 Turbo better, even though it didn't have as many characters. Not sure if that was ever released on SNES though (I played it a lot at arcades).-Super Street Fighter 2
Port of the arcade version; eight fighters with unique styles and special attacks; One or two player action. Goes for around 15 to 25 dollars on ebay

Speaking of fighting games, Mortal Kombat II was incredible on SNES. It was one of the best ports from an arcade that I have ever seen.
talkin about sf2 turbo, did you guys ever played sf2 blackbelt in the arcades? jumping in the air doing 2 fire balls simultaneously and staying up there stutter jumping, fkn filled the whole screen with fire balls...
never learnt how to play zanglief, but that guy was hacked if u know how to use him properly, he only needed 3 moves and if you pull it off correctly each time, your winning most matches...grapple and piledriver![]()
You can still pick up a super magicom on ebay, fwiw...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Super-Magico...=171831&ih=008
Or there's even some FlashCarts out there
http://www.stoneagegamer.com/
Crap, forgot about Super Metroid and Earthworm Jim 2. Those are must get games for the SNES also.
On my old, dead (RIP), hacked PS2, I had a DVD with 100 SNES games
It was awesome![]()
Most bestest game ever.
I don't know why people think the first was better. The second was so much funnier.
do u guys think t odays game are dumb down for the poorer gamers who cant handle hard games?
im certain there was nbalive 96/97/98/99 on the snes
Live 95 was awesome on SNES. Bulls vs Blazers too. There is a spot near halfcourt where you cannot miss a three as long as you shoot with a guard on Bulls vs Blazers SNES.
It depends on the games, but yeah. those vintage "cute" 2D games could be hard as
Gouls N ghosts wasnt easy
I had NBA Live 95
Now that one was easy
3 pointers orgies![]()
