I read at one time the Spurs asked his agent to agree to an extension on the date before he would become a free agent. I forgot the particulars.
I was just looking at the Spurs site on nba.com and I noticed that Linton Johnson is not labeled as a free agent on the team roster. Did the Spurs already pick up the option on him? What's the situation there?
