Define outrageously expensive? Also, do you have a food preference (Sushi, steak, Italian..)?
Anywhere in town is fine as I don't mind driving. Good but not outrageously expensive.
Recommendations?

Maggianos at La Cantera if you like Italian tbh.
No Asian food. There are very few that I trust. Anything else is fine...Mexican, Italian, American...whatever. Modestly priced...50 bucks or so for two.
just get pizza hut
Mi Tierra is the standard dowtown in the market square tbh
Yeah...we did Mi Tierra last time.
Noted. Don't think I've ever eaten at one.
Good Time Charlies. Award winning chicken fingers, burgers and steaks. If you want great cheap mexican food henrys puffy tacos. If you want to spend more money but eat like a king papacitos. If you want more of a bar & grill with scenery then twin peaks

I've always liked Pappadeuxs if you are down for seafood. Maggianos is pretty good too.
Mexican: Acenar
BBQ: Two Bros.
Funky late night: The Esquire or The Monterrey. Good Time Charlies is good for burgers and rib sticking food
Blue Star Brewing and Freetail's are good local brewerys.
Enjoy!
OP u got a hot date brah? glad to see someone around here doesn't date dudes
go mcdonalds, get 2 cones and call it a night....
Go to La Gloria on the river at the pearl brewery just north of downtown. This place is phenomenal and you will be very pleasantly surprised by the check when it comes. They serve mexican street food (street tacos, mocahetes of meat, and other things). Here is the menu http://chefjohnnyhernandez.com/laglo..._Menu_Food.pdf
I can't recommend this place enough.
Urban Taco is very solid (in the Quarry).
Heard 20nine in Quarry is good as well.
Stonewerks in Quarry is very solid.
Mexican food - La Fogata, El Mirasol, Soluna, El Jarro, La Fonda on Main.
Italian - Sorrentos, Florios, Paesanos, Dough.
The Stonewerks recommendation is pretty solid. Any of the locations. Has a nice bar, wide variety to pick from and pretty reasonably priced.
Might check out Stonewerks. Probably be hitting up some of the other suggestions on Saturday. Thanks for the info.![]()
son you can get 2 meals for the price of one there. you order something from the 2 for 1 menu, you get the one meal and they'll bring out another meal when you're about to leave. it's not bad tbqhwyimo
i'd prefer fastfood restaurants if im just gonna hang out with some friends. honestly i don't see no point spending 1-2 hours in a restaurant tbh, 's a total waste of time
