If we win the first two, it won't go any longer than 5. If we split the first two, it will go 6 or maybe even 7.

Curry is going to be Tony Parker's . Tony shut down Chris Paul in the playoffs last year, and he'll shut down Curry too. Also love Joseph coming off the bench to irritate Curry even more. Charles Barkley is right, this is a better matchup for us. Denver was more talented, taller, and overall just better than Golden State. GS has lost 29 straight at San Antonio. Everything is falling in place for this team. I'm just giddy with our fortune thus far. With the Lakers hobbling in, GS's one legitimate big man going down, and Westbrook being out for the playoffs.... now all we need is for that knee of Dwayne Wade's to flare up again. We ing got this! I feel it. This is going to be a quick series people. We win in 5. I'm pumped up. LET'S DO THIS!

Jeezus that's what came to mind - how many posters on here wouldn't even remember that timeframe. Probably half I'd wager.

I'm going to make a couple of notes to play devil's advocate. While I definitely think the Spurs will win in 5, this series will be much tougher than the last. This is a decent team, although as we saw in the final quarter last night, they're undoubtedly inexperienced.

    1) Chris Paul was hobbled last year. Claiming to have totally shut him down needs to reference that foot note. It's just the truth.

    2) Basically everyone would have to agree that Golden State has two legitimate bigmen. David Lee who is, for all intents and purposes, out. The other that you seem to have dismissed though is Andrew Bogut. The dude is big, and he had 14 and 21 last night.

So, with all that said, I still like the Spurs in 5. And the other series' are definitely aligning quite well for us to get to Miami.

Would be nice. But I genuinely want the Grizzlies tbh.

Rockets aren't wining that series. It's been fun watching them fight back but OKC will close it out in Houston game 6 most likely. They just aren't a very good team and will f it up somehow

Is Lee out? I thought he was cleared to play and will get some time this series. Bogut is definitely legit when healthy, and he seems to be quite healthy now. Spurs need to prey on their inexperience as that's a big weakness that hardly anyone on that team has any 2nd round or later experience.
