Can someone explain the round 2 schedule to me?

Spurs, Warriors, Heat, and Bulls play on Wednesday then again on Friday, but the Thunder, Grizzlies, Knicks, and Pacers play tomorrow and get two extra days off and don't play until Saturday. Why do they get a long rest and the other teams don't get an extended rest at all?

TV partners request the games. When the Spurs are on, they get crap scheduling unless their oppostion is a media darling like the Heat or OKC or a large market like the La ers or Knicks. Since its GSW, we get 2nd billing.
