Just wondering on who you all thought might be the most improved teams this next year. I am taking only teams that did not make the playoffs this past year into consideration. Here are mine out of each league:

    West:
Utah: AK47 will maybe healthy and I really like the way Deron Williams plays
Golden State: Showed what they could do towards the end of the year with BD and I think Diagu was a good solid pick-up: he could be a productive big body for a long time in the league

    East:
Milwaukee: Most of this is based on T.J. Ford coming back and being T.J. Ford and Simmons is a good pickup and Bogut is an upgrade to Gadzuric. Still lacking a PF
Cleveland: Give Lebron another year and I think Hughes will be good with him. They still need a dead eye shooter, but they will be better.

    Reaction....

West: Portland. They've got a lot of young talent that should be coming into its own in the next year or two and McMillan proved he can work with a diverse crew in Seattle. They should make the playoffs this year, maybe even be a dangerous 6 or 7 seed.

East-I'm with you on Milwaukee, although I'll also throw in the Bobcats, because well, there's no where to go but up.

Orlando could improve significantly. Lousy organization, but Dwight Howard looks like he's going to be a serious franchise player.

I think the Lakers will improve enough to grab a low seed, 7 or 8.

From what Marcus Bryant keeps saying, it will be Tim Duncan.

Cleaveland will be scary next season, as will NJ with a healthy RJ.
West, I can see the GS Warriors becoming better if Baron can stay healthy and they get 1 or 2 good players in the offseason.

I have a feeling that GS is going to be next year's suprise team in the West...kind of like the Sonics were this year.

Which makes that double overtime with no Tim, no Rasho and no Manu all the more sweet.

Golden State has the potential to be a terrific team, but Baron Davis's injury history is certainly a big red flag. Derek Fisher is a great guy to have on the court for 0.4 seconds, but hardly the best guy to be running your team over a season.
