Until the Spurs suit up to play the Heat in Miami.

That is a LONG time off. I am a bit worried about rust, but I think we can use it. Manu and Timmy certainly could use it. Manu played decently this series (aside from tonight), but he could certainly use some time off, I think. Duncan was good, but, again, time off for our senior citizens can never hurt.

I actually thought he played pretty well. He crashed the boards nicely, had a few threes rattle out, and made some very nice passes. Yes, he turned the ball over, but he looked good out there. I do agree, though, the rest will help. Not sure if we need a week and a half though.

The time off is definitely a good thing. I'm currently torn on whether I want the ECFs to go 7 so fatigue will be an issue, or if I want both teams rusty coming out of the gates.

so we will be facing a tired LeBron/Wade
It's true because the Finals are a fixed start. Heat can beat Pacers in the next two and the Finals will be starting the same time as if they played a game 7. Better hope Indy can get its together and draw it out.

Aside from the 4th quarter, I would agree, but six turnovers is hard to overlook. That sequence in the final five minutes was ugly.

Of course, Tony had seven turnovers last game.

The time off will help with game planning... now Pop can give his full attention to the Heat/Pacers and start scheming his world takeover...

This. I'd much rather be rusty in an away game than tired because Memphis extended the series a couple of games.

10 days will be great for the coaching staff to figure the heat out lots of tape and get a good game plan for them. The crazy thing is theres no tape to watch for them or the spurs vs each other both sat big 3 each game

Didn't work for OKC last year. Really the Miami Heat is one of those teams that can have a grueling 7 game series and still not show any fatigue at all in the next round, they're that good.

Manu just said 10 days is a little to much lol I agree but it will be great for game planning and they can relax and actually watch the heat pacers series Manu said they haven't watched any of it
