Every year I have a supers ion during the playoffs. This year I have been sitting on the couch that I don't usually sit on during the game. In 03 I sat on the ground. In 05 I muted the TV and closed my eyes every time the opposing team shot an open 3.

Dude, gravity is an inverse-square law, so your sitting a few feet farther over will have a minimal effect on Green's jumpshot this series. Unless you're sitting on his lap tbh.
i am the same way and yes, it's pretty crazy behavior. i have to sit in the same spot with the couch pillow a certain way and the remote not in my hands, my spurs tervis in a certain spot, logo facing away, lid on so the spout is symmetrical with the logo, feed my gf's cats at halftime or before the game, hungry cat is bad luck (lol). i always watch on dvr one hour into the game so i can ffwd commercials and if i hear a discernible word from a non nba commercial while ffwding through its bad luck. if i shoot paper into a trash can on spurs game day and i miss, it's bad luck. when the spurs shoot FT's, i look at a certain corner of the net and find a triangle to focus on, when the opponent shoots a three, i look away for a sec, then look at the last sec to keep the ball honest and jinx the shot. my gf has a lucky spurs bracelet she wears on gameday, and i donate 2 dollars to CMN on gameday since game 3 round 2 (this one got us through GSW i swear to you haha)
haha i promise i'm not crazy, this is just with spurs games nothing else. i just love the spurs a lot. and i promise it works, it really does creep me out sometimes. ill be ffwding through a commercial and forget to put the remote down, holding it during the game is bad luck, and as soon as i put it down, that's the end of the other teams 8-0 run immediately green hits a 3 etc

my supers ion: I can't intentionally watch any highlights from the previous championships. I watched them last year after getting up 2-0 to the Thunder trying to break my curse. (back door sweep) I watched the highlights before the playoffs started in 2011 (swept by the grizzlies.) I watched them the day of Ginobili's foul on Dirk. I don't remember watching them in 2010 against the suns (but I think I watched the MDM clip.) But I know I watched them every year we lost to the Lakers.
Inevitably I try to watch the 99 championship video or just clips of the memorial day miracle, just to get pumped. Or like last year just to disprove my supers ion, but it seems Everytime I do, the spurs immediately lose every game after I give in to temptation.

I've never told anyone, but I'm sorry for making the spurs lose.
I never wear Spurs gear during the actual game, and ESPECIALLY not during games SA could be eliminated. Tried to break that curse last year against OKC and it failed.

I've got a few; mainly I just keep things the way they are when we are winning. Where or how I sit, what I wear, the way things are placed during the game (beer, remote control, phone, etc.). I've gotten a little better about it lately, but hey if TD is supers ious, it's fine with me to a be also.
It may be a little crazy, but you can thank us supers ious fans in a few weeks.
