Yup I agree. First spurs bandwagon ever
If the Finals is Spurs-Heat, there'll probably be many, many people suddenly rooting for the Spurs.
Mostly Pacers, Bulls and Celtics fans; probably lots of Eastern Conference fans too.
The Spurs going to suddenly have a much larger 'fanbase' than the Spurs have perhaps ever had in history.

Well I think its more of a group of non-Spur fans rooting against the Heat. Sort of a "lesser of the two evils" thing going.
If you check other boards a majority of fans are rooting against the Heat for a myriad of reasons.
There are plenty of Heat bandwagon fans out there as well though.
Exactly, I rooted for the Mavs against the Heat in the Finals. That's a lot of hate from me transferred to a team I somehow hate more.
Haha, me too. I was rooting for Dirk so loudly, I swear that my neighbors thought I was a Mavs fan. It was really weird...I always hated how Dirk flails his body, but anytime he did it against Miami I thought a foul should have been called. I guess that is some example of stockholm syndrome in the basketball world.
I still think a majority of people will be rooting for the Heat (ie casuals and bandwagoning celebs)
Anyone whose "fandom" is based on some combination of Gatorade commercials, GQ shoots, entertainment industry relationships, tattoos and/or other evidence of a given player's celebrity isn't a fan. And that includes anyone who started getting interested in the Spurs when Tony and Eva hooked up.
I heard they are on their way
