I think Butler was after the lockout LAST year. I don't think they've gone after Hill since his initial signage in Phoenix.

spurs probably won't win the championship but if they contrive to do it somehow, Hill would probably kick the out of himself for declining them spurs (if spurs ever approached to sign him last summer). other guys can still coattail ride another team expecting to ring next year or even later
