"We have to do a good job of getting opportunities for me and Chris to succeed," Wade said Saturday night. "It's something we're going to have to look at as a team. ..."

"We've got to figure it out in this locker room," he continued. "And not leave it to an individual to self-will it."
    -CBS Sports

Wade looks like a completely different player, in a bad way. Especially in the past 3 games. They are 1-2, had Lebron not had a monster 3rd quarter they may have lost game 5 (he scored or assisted on 24 of the teams 30 points, more than half of Indiana's points in that quarter). When Wade isn't able to get to rim or get to the free throw line, he becomes much less valuable. That has been especially true in this series. Miami has been forced to stay with two bigs (Bosh & Haslem) Indiana can help off of Haslem and recover since his range is only about 15-18 ft instead of 23 feet. Wade's lack of perimeter shooting allows for players like Stephenson to sag off of him and play the passing lanes or play Wade assuming he is going to drive to the basket.

Wade has played 112 minutes in the past 3 games (Games:4,5, & 6). In those games he's only attempted 34 shots (11 per game down from 16 in the regular season) and has made only 11 field goals (averaged 8 FGM per game during the regular season) hitting just 32.3% of his shots. He's taking one shot approximate every three minutes 1/2 minutes he plays during the regular season his scored roughly every 90 seconds he was on the floor at a 52% clip.

His efficiency numbers have free fallen since the regular season. Despite a week off he is clearly struggling. He'll only have 3 days off and before another grueling series.

Eastern Conference Stats (Regular season in parenthesis)
    Minutes-38.2 (34.6)
    Points-14.5 (21.2, 6.7 pts lower)
    Field Goal Percent-44.2 (52.1)

Anyone watching the last few games probably noticed just how uncomfortable he looks out there. He isn't healthy enough to attack the rim and can't shoot well enough from outside to properly space the floor making Miami's offense struggle at times.

Man up Wade. You form a Super Team with your Super Best Friends and you're not gonna get the amount of shots you used to get, it's not rocket science. Take a page out of Timmy's book and not be a little . Just sayin. And your game isn't sustainable, you're over 30 now and played about 10 years, deal with it.

It certainly sounds as though that's what Wade is doing. He's really hyper-sensitive about his knee situation and prefers not to address it. Meanwhile, his buddy LeBron is indicating to the media that he's having to resort back to his Cleveland days because the other guys aren't hitting their shots. Could this be the first sign of cracks in the team chemistry foundation? You'll also notice that Wade and Lebron are not joined at the hip in doing their post-game pressers, as they did all through last year's playoffs.

I'm just so thankful somebody finally made a thread about this. Is Wade done? Injured? Coasting? Tapping LBJ's mom? This needs serious discussion.

I think this washed up bum is putting too much effort into his stupid post gm outfits its affecting his gm. Like the infamous Billy Hoyle says..."A black man wants to look good 1st, win 2nd".

People think of Wade as part of the 'younger' generation, but he's actually older than Tony Parker.

Wade is overrated, he could never win without Shaq and then it took LaBron to make him marketable again. His teams were weak in a weak eastern confrence and yet he was still hyped up by Stern and the NBA.

Weak argument. If Wade is overrated, it's not because he has failed to carry a team to the top. No guard can do that by himself. Not Wade, not Parker, not Paul, not Bryant, not Jordan, not Magic, no one

This is not gonna mean anything if Miami wins tonight. But if they don’t win (or win but lose the Finals) prepare for "The Decision #2". Lebron is about to snap, he tasted victory and now he wants it again, and again and again. No one is safe, no one!

Wade was great for about 15 minutes in his career. Then pretty good rest of the way.

Agree he has always been overrated. Still, he was a key piece for 2012 championship team and he will be a key piece tonight to help Heat reach their 2nd Finals in 2 years.

and, he will be overrated again after tonight.

Funny how people were saying Wade was like Manu on steroids. Well, now let's see what those steroids have done to him. While Manu is still flopping his way to a 5th ring :P

As an athlete, as one's body breaks down, one needs to find other ways to contribute. Dwayne Wade has not developed other aspects of this game to be NBA type level. Spurs should be glad to have guys like Duncan, Parker, Ginobili who have taken care of their body wisely. They also have coaches, who have protected them by playing them limited minutes during the season.
It is really sad to see Wade career .... come to and end and he is only 31. Actually, I think he was already very weak last year at the same time.

spurs have players that love the game and work on their game
wade has choice not to and now his age has caught up with him
    he is lazy
    look at tp for example
    people said no jumpshot tp
    he fixed that
heck no he makes threes in playoffs
when tp gets old he can hit threes and jumpshops
does not have to always have layups

    wrong.

Shaq? It was Wade who lead that championship. He was at his best during that time.

LeBron decided to be with Wade because he knows how to win.
Then when they are winning takes almost all the credit. The media love to think he is another Jordan.

Then, the other two just became his sidekicks
