What was once a novel idea for raising money for charitable causes, super cool inventions, and as a way to prove that average folk can be way more creative than corporate America has crossed the line into absurdity, thanks to Carrie R. Yunker and her daughter Nicole.
Nicole is a not-too-bright teenager who shattered a bunch of bones jumping off of a roof in the general direction of a swimming pool — the twist is that her mother is taking to crowdfunding site GoFundMe.com, seeking monetary contributions to help pay for her daughter’s rent and expenses for the six months she’ll be out of work due to the injuries.
The Internet isn’t s ing out the cash money like they did for Zach Braf’s new movie, they are mostly mocking the Yunkers.
