DRose was completely shut down by Lebron 2 years ago. How could Parker possibly survive Lebron's defense?
Individual defenders are irrelevant when it comes to guarding Tony Parker. He runs through so many screens they simply don't matter. Guarding Parker is a team effort. Miami's pick and roll defense should be the bigger concern.

Cuz that Bulls team was 100% reliant on Rose for their perimeter offense, whereas the Spurs have multiple options. Parker is also better working off the ball than Rose and will have 3-4 screens to run Lebron off to create space.
Lebron will def guard TP at times, but not the whole game. He'd be running through constant screens and would tire more easily. He'll likely guard him in the 4th qtr if it's close. Manu or Tim will have to step up, which may work here and there, but I don't see it being a remedy to that tactic. It will be interesting to see how they respond/adjust.
