First he must Learn how to spell spurs first. Its S P U R S not s p E r s lmao.
But on an unrelated note, Lakers are considering using their amnesty provision on Metta World Peace. If he gets amnestied, what are the chances he might be able to play for us next season? I've always wanted him on the Spurs ever since he took the MLE deal to the Rockets.

can't be worse than 2013 Jack, tbh.
I know he can be a nut case, the only problem is if Pop can keep him in check. If he can, MWP can be so beneficial for our team.
Metta is a nut case, with Chip his shot could improve but I do not think Pop will gamble on another crazy player..
Would love to have him. Worldwar in a limit role can still be an effective player. Besides, he would fit a need.. a backup, defensive minded SF behind Kawhi Leonard.
no thanks
hmmm, let me think (scratching my head)
NO!!
Only if he changes his name back to Ron Artest.
.... but nothing. We are all talking about the finals right now.
I think Pop is done giving head cases second chances.
I don't want that thug on our team. He's washed up anyway. I'd rather have Tmac or Capt. Jack.
I'd be willing to bet that this offseason we'll draft a solid wing player to back up Kawhi anyway, so there's really no need for a veteran like Artest. Not that I wanted him anyway. Hope the Lakers cut ties with him and he ends up with some crappy team like the Bucks.![]()
No thanks, he's not a good enough 3 point shooter. 34% career won't cut it in the Spurs system.
If you can't keep the opponent defence honest, then what you do for our defence is pointless. See: Tayshaun Prince.
Hard to say -- he probably gets better looks if he comes here.
Personally, I'd bring him in for a workout and an interview in a heartbeat. Part of why he's looked so bad is that the Lakers are so thin (and D'Antoni is so incompetent) that they have been playing him way too many minutes. Cut his role and there's a good chance he looks several years younger -- like what happened when we brought in a very washed-up looking Horry after 2003.
As long as he's affordable, then best case, we get a legitimate rotation player who can help in crunch time on both ends. Worst case, he's buried on the bench, or cut if he's a distraction. Totally worth that risk.
NO. He is too old, too crazy. He doesn't offer much. I don't want him on this team, not in our uniform. Quit trying to relive a time when he was good.
Yeah I think Pop has lost his patience with head cases after seeing Jackson do what he did.
